Mixbook

For my final emergent technology project, I decided to explore mixbook, an online photo album allowing you to scrapbook and/or create story book albums that you can share online or purchase as gifts.

I found this website to be completely user friendly. There were several options available for downloading photos (i.e. facebook, photobucket, yahoo), as well as different page layouts, backgrounds and stickers that could be used to enhance your pages. I was able to create my albums, decided who could see them and share them once I was done. There was also an option to start with an album that was already completed and you could simply drop your pictures where you wanted them to go. It was also easy to preview your album, change themes and switch pictures all from the same tab.

Take a look and enjoy!!!

  1. Your girls are so beautiful! I enjoyed looking at your project and loved how you did a focus on each of them at the beginning. My favorite page I think was the one with the paint splatters!
    Great job and beautiful family!

  2. Thanks! I like that one too, although it was hard to position the pictures and words around the splatter so they could be seen.
