About Me
I'm Telisha, married mother of three adorable, yet very different, in a good way, daughters, ages 10, 7 and 3.
I'm working on my Master's in Elementary Education and am looking forward to teaching either kindergarten, 1st or 2nd grade in the IPS School District. I think I've heard just about any and everything negative that can be said about the IPS School District, but being a product of IPS myself I believe they need more teachers that genuinely care about the students and things might be a lot different. I've worked in the criminal justice field for the past 9 1/2 years and although I love it, my heart has always been with teaching.
While I've always wanted to create a blog, this is the first one I've done and it's been quite an experience. I've gone through and looked at some of the other blogs that have been created and while they all looked nice and simple, my experience was quite different. But....after playing around with the buttons and getting a feel for how things worked, I quickly caught on up until I had to attach our slideshow presentation. I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to remove the little tools from my blog, but long and be hold HERE I AM - YEAH! I'm actually looking forward to blogging!!!
